Jessica tagged me for the “23rd post” meme!
The rules are:
1. Search your blog archive.
2. Find your 23rd post.
3. Find the fifth sentence (this is meant to say something about you).
4. Post that sentence in your blog along with these instructions.
5. Tag five people to do the same.
I decided to go back into the depths of my blogging, to my 23rd post EVER (in December of 2000).
“Come, Thou Redeemer of the earth, and manifest Thy virgin birth:
Let every age adoring fall; such birth befits the God of all.”
I think this says something about me: I love hymns!
Who wants to play? I’ll tag you!
Um… I’d ask to play, but I can’t. Unless I break the rules.
My 23rd blog entry is simply ‘hello.‘
Mine’s kind of boring (about my big cat), but at least it’s not embarrassing. And there IS a fifth sentence to that post!
This is off topic, but I am noticing from pictures, comments and posts that you are experimenting with lots of different cloth diapers. I would be very interested in hearing your opinions on the different things you have used now that you are seasoned at CD. Ratings of specific brands, how they hold up and when they work best. That kind of stuff. Just a thought…
This is my fifth line of MY 23rd post (not mine and Gaines’ together):
“At lunch our bowls overflowed with gumbo and jumbalaya, rice and king cake.”
I suppose it shows how much I like to eat. ;)
Fun! But mine is weird when taken out-of-context.
“Our current theory is that the living ants have come back for the dead, possibly for proper burial.”
We were having an ant infestation and having trouble wiping them all out. May 2003. Hm. That brings back memories. Icky, icky memories…..
I hope that doesn’t say too much about me. Except that to note that anything I say, when taken out-of-context, is sure to sound stupid!
Ah well. Fun game!
Okay, I’ll go.
“It’s the long-term committment that counts.”
Wow! I was commenting about a diet I was on. But that’s actually a nice life principle.
One thing this exercise made me realize is how hard it is for me to count sentences. I use far too many hyphens, semi-colons, and (this is the biggie) parentheses.
What if your 23rd post doesn’t have 5 sentences?
