reese and sims! reese and sims!
Interesting choices, sweetpea! I mean, they were built 66 years apart! :o)
I really wish I could see a floor plan or interior pictures of those ones. They are in the “?” category for me.
One mentioned a claw foot tub. A few years ago, a friend had to go to huge expense to have a tub removed b/c of lead. Anyway, with any older home, just be mindful about lead possibilities in tubs and paint.
I looked at all of them. Wow! What selection! *grin*
Looking at these home prices almost makes me want to move to AL!! Similar Lancaster ones are 60 – 70,000 more. Then ther are the infamous PA property taxes … :) But I digress. Happy hunting.
how did you like the will blythe book? i really really enjoyed it :)
i love sims. it needs a fence, but thats easy.
i like the big tree on frances, and it seems like with some work, you could easily improve the home, add some value.
i would love to live in “irondale”- it has a nice ring to it. reese is nice, but its a little cookie cutter [though thats not a bad thing when you know everything will be new]
I’m trying not to be too jealous of those prices. I have no idea when we’ll even be able to afford a condo in Los Angeles (right now a 1br/1ba condo in Pasadena starts at least at $249,000). Have fun house hunting!
I was going purely on the facade.
I cannot believe how affordable these homes are…..
*turns a little green with envy*
Everyone just needs to move to Birmingham! *strategizes about planting a church that needs Bryce and Ashley and stealing Mr. SP away from his new job…*
I like the last one in Leeds a lot. Leeds is a nice place. Of course, you’ll be driving a lot, but that’s pretty much the case no matter where you settle.
My parents live in Bluff Park, which is a wonderful neighborhood. Check it out!
