This is one of my favorite paintings, and Mary Cassat is one of my favorite artists. A print of Breakfast in Bed hangs in my daughter’s nursery. Thanks for posting this, Kristen!
I’ve never seen this one before. It’s such a sweet and beautiful painting. It makes me think of mornings around here when Becca is in bed with us after her first nursing of the day. I think we might have to look for a print of this eventually.

So sweet. Just like Tricia, it reminds me of my girls in bed in the mornings after we’ve all woken up. We’ve been in that exact pose many times. That baby actually reminds me of Ellery, only with blond hair.
