BTW, which carriers/slings have been your favorite? I’ve got a list of the ones I like/dislike, but it’s funny how my list changes from child to child and the child’s personality and how s/he likes to ‘ride’.
I really like having one of every major style because different things call for different carriers. Ring slings have been my newborn preference both times, though Kate was a cradle carry baby and refluxy Lexi was always tummy to tummy. I use pouches for popability. I like my Mei Tai for fast back carries. I am really trying to be a better wrapper. So I have 1-2 of every style in different colorways and match outfit to carrier depending on fashion and slinging needs. *LOL* It’s taken me two years to build up the stash (some mbm, some traded for, some bought) and it’s large for an average person but in the baby wearing world, it’s not at all. I may have the smallest stash of any NINO leader! (Believe it or not, there are requirements…)
