Something hard and messy and just plain offensive is going on in my life right now and it makes me sad and angry and depressed. Broken-hearted, in tears, I want to give up and hide. But Christ is risen, and someday I will too. And so, I press on and do what is hard, and love those who hurt me, and try, by God’s grace, to show my children the gospel is for them, too.

I am sorry kristen. I get it though, and will pray.
praying.
i’ve been through something hard and messy and offensive in the last year, too, and loving those who hurt you can only be done in Christ. you are right to do what is hard– but that’s just it. it’s hard. i’m lifting you up in prayer. Christ is risen, indeed.
i’m sorry to hear that you’re going through some painful stuff. will keep you in my thoughts and prayer.
I’m sorry, Kristen, for whatever is going on. I’ll be praying for you tonight.
I don’t know what you’re going through, but we’ve been there. (I know that doesn’t make sense. E-mail me if you want to understand that better.) We are praying for you.
Thinking of you…
I’m sorry to hear that, Kristen. I definitely have been there. I hope things get better for you.
Thanks for this. Good reminder.
