I’m 19.5 weeks along now. I kicked the Zofran habit a month ago (praise God!) and have been feeling much better, though still pretty tired. I started feeling the baby move at week 15 and now Mike can feel the baby too, so that’s fun. The 20 week ultrasound is this Thursday. Is it a boy or a girl? We’re peekers (well, planners) so we’re going to find out if he or she cooperates. The majority of commenters were wrong last time around, but y’all can guess again and see if you’re right this time around :o)
We really enjoyed keeping Kate’s name a secret until her birth, but we also enjoyed praying for her and talking to her by name and we don’t want to be secretive around our children in family worship, etc. now or in the future, so we’ll reveal the name when we find out the sex.
So, boy or girl?
I say boy–get the estrogen/testosterone balance evened out in the Stewart house. ;)
Boy!!!
glad you’re feeling a bit better
I’m going with another girl. The Knox family is heavy on the women, so there is my logic :) Although, I can hear Jonathan’s voice in my head saying “Actually that wouldn’t really factor in statistically.” So logical.
Hoping for a boy for you. They are rather fun. Of course, I’m also hoping we’ll have a girl next time around. Variety being the spice of life, and all!
Boy!
boy.. just stay away from the name jimmy
I’ll go with girl.
another girl :)
I say girl again. I think there might really be something to more intense morning sickness due to the double dose of female hormones. Adrienne’s sickness was MARKEDLY more intense with Alexis than with Stephen, and you seemed to have had it pretty tough too. A sister for Kate, I think.
Girl! But then, I’m biased…
That brings the count to 5:5 :o)
I was really sick too (and I admit, still using Zofran at week 23 now…)Everyone told me I was going to be having a girl because I was sooooo sick and baby girls always make you soooo sick because of the levels of estrogen or whatever. But, we found out to our surprise that we are having a BOY, so my vote is going for the boy! Thanks for all your advice by the way…you’re awesome!
Girl!
ummm… girl?
(my mother is threatening that i’m going to have triplet boys because i’m a twin.)
I think boy.
N. and I think girl. N. says he doesn’t see you becoming that nuclear just yet.
I’ll say that I hope you have a girl. From experience (though limited) I like having 2 girls that close together. And I just like having 2 girls :-)
Boy! I love boys, and its kind of exciting to have one of each. Well at least I think it will be come the end of November. By the way, I didn’t even know you were pregnant, so congrats, I need to check your blog more!
My gut says girl.
(My sister is having a boy. *grin* Due at the end of September!)
10 votes girl, 8 votes boy… I have a hard time counting if I don’t update regularly ;o)
I have a feeling it’s another girl, but I’m hoping for your sake that you have a boy. :)
What does Kristen think it’s going to be?
Because my pregnancy is so different in alot of ways, I lean towards thinking the baby’s a boy, but I don’t feel strongly either way. But I’m not counting my vote. This poll is for readers, not parents!
And Reba: Jimmy/James, Rod and Jon are all on the no-no list with Martha :o)
My pregnancies with Leah and Amaris were totally different. So I guessed boy with Amaris and of course was wrong.
Yup. . . Based on pregnancy #4 being so different, I wondered whether #4 would be a girl. I didn’t have a strong feeling one way or another, though, so I wasn’t surprised when #4 was born a boy.
PS if it’s a girl, my name guess is something that shortens to Maggie. (Margaret?)
What ever happened to the Katharine Luther Stewart idea? I think you should name her Katharine Luther Stewart.
I’ve been waiting all day to find out what it is. You need to announce!
The ultrasound wasn’t until 3p! Cut me some slack ;o)
