About ten days ago was my seventh anniversary of blogging. Reflecting on this led to some realizations:
First, I am a much different blogger than I am when I first started. Then, I posted whatever was on my mind. Blogging was so new, and so few people read, I felt safe to say anything. Now, I don’t.
This is an ecclectic blog, and it doesn’t fit in with any of the blogging subcultures. That’s okay. I made my first 18 months or so of blogging semi-private after taking a short break to start anew, and I actually think I’ve been pretty consistent since then in my ecclecticism. That’s who I am.
It’s amazing to think of how many of you kind readers have stuck around, some of you have “watched” me grow into an adult. I started blogging the fall of my sophomore year of college. And having lived in four different states in those seven years, this is probably the most consistent community in my life apart from my family and my closest friends.
Thanks for reading.
Have been thinking about and praying for you. I didn’t realize you had been blogging for that long – pretty cool:)
“this is probably the most consistent community in my life apart from my family and my closest friends.
I understand that. . . especially with the moves y’all (and we) have made.
happy blogiversary. :)
