Waits and I got to hang out with your two at the hippie preschool this morning! It was fun to see Kate and Lexi’s faces light up when they saw Waits. He was being “observed” as part of the application process. (We’re hoping to get Waits on the waiting list for next semester or next fall.) I’m not sure that he’ll make the cut, though – this morning he had a tantrum because he wasn’t allowed to take his shoes off in the sandbox. Of course, arguably, Waits was simply living up to his hippie roots … he’s used to playing barefoot in the dirt. We’ll see.
