Wow. I didn’t know that Danny Wuerffel, the 1996 national champion and Heisman Trophy winner from Florida, was a Christian.
It turns out that he retired from the NFL and took a development director position with Desire Street Ministries.

Yeah, that’s cool, huh? I knew he was a Christian because when I was in high school, he was big in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I just didn’t know he was Reformed and working for DSM until recently.
I hope he’s a better Christian than NFL QB! ;)
