   Nikkiana,
   My midwife and her partner got fired with no notice. The whole midwifery program was axed with no phase out, so women due last week had no notice that they were not going to be able to use their midwives. this post from last week has more detail.

   That’s horrible! It’s terrible for the midwifes and the patients that were already scheduled with them. One has to wonder what the people in charge were thinking do terminate the program without a phase out…
