Things just didn’t work out on the house’s end. A hard providence, but a good one. Ah, well.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that. I am sure this means though that it wasn’t God’s plan and there are better things to come. Wishing you all the best as you begin again to find the house that is meant to be.
Oh, Kristen, what a bummer. You must’ve had a roller coaster of an evening. I feel for you.
Wow, I’m sorry. That’s too bad. We had an offer fall through on us too, right before we found this house.
I hope that you guys find something even better soon. :hug
Aw, shoot! And I was just getting on to get excited with you…We went through HELL with our first house attempt-to-buy experience. Big, wonderful house with lots of character. The sellers, though, kept getting nastier because our (advised, researched, and informed) opinion of their house was considerably less than their own…we were vindicated through the appraisal, but the sellers refused to come down the $15,000 over appraisal that we had finally agreed on. So the bank, of course, wouldn’t lend us that money, and we certainly didn’t have it – and freakin’ wouldn’t pay it if we did! The real estate agency de-listed them with the comment, “We don’t deal with people like them.” We were really gun-shy for a while after that experience, but when our current house popped up we were very glad. It all works out with a sovereign God!
I’m sure something good will come along guys… I know it’s hard to be patient when the apartment seems a little smaller every day. Be sure to tell us about the next offer you make!
shucks.
Darn. Sorry to hear that. :(
bummer! I hate starting over. :(
So sorry that it didn’t work out…the hunt is long and hard, I know.

i know it’s a bummer, but hey, that house may be infested with mice (my personal nightmare)…and you just missed it! i always make myself repeat this when disappointed in anything: “God has something better for me.” it helps take the sting out a bit, but if i didn’t do that, i would go crazy. your perfect house is out there…and you know that, but i’m sorry anyway. i had three deals in a row (because an ivestor came in with a wad of cash bigger than mine) fall through when i was buying a townhouse…so i know it’s not fun.
so sorry to hear that, kristen….hope something else works out soon!!!!
Sorry to hear it. I know how you feel!! I’ll pray for y’all!
