This year I am going to participate in the December Photo Project. Hopefully posting a picture each day will help to motivate me to post something else, too.

Yay for DPP! :-)
Is this your advent calendar? I still have to keep my out of Livia’s reach… Waiting, even waiting 24 hours to open another wee door, is not a concept she loves quite yet. (Heck, I don’t love to wait and I’m almost 30. Geesh.)
This is our advent calendar. I put the items in the night before, so they play with it and open and close all the doors all day long :)
We have one similar (wooden, with doors) and I put a birthday candle in each Sunday, and the boy that opens it that day gets to light the advent candle for that Sunday.
I love Advent. And Christmas. And sharing it with my kids.
And THIS is why we have community. Because clearly I am not smart enough to add the items in the night before and use such great ideas as candles on Sundays. Thanks, ladies!
