Three years ago, Mike and J.T. were on a plane headed for Raleigh-Durham International Airport. They spent the weekend visiting me, meeting my family and friends, going to church, etc. It seems a lifetime ago — and maybe it was! I’ve graduated from college, gotten engaged and married, moved halfway across the country twice, taught third grade, had two babies and stayed at home with them. It’s fun to go back and read my blog archives from that time, it brings back a rush of emotions and memories. What a long strange trip it’s been, and I’ve enjoyed just about every minute.

Wow! three years! and the Eagles were in the playoff. and you were knitting. and i was standing on the sofa yelling and trying to hold a conversation at the same time. easier said than done.
And we (I, at least) was trying to get a picture of Mike with the knitting. He was too fast, though. Jerk.
