A few weeks ago Mike made our names on the left and right sidebars links to all the posts we authored. So, if my twaddle bores you, it is now easy to see his posts alone.
I am doing a lot of blog reading these days thanks to the amount of time I spend either nursing or holding Lexi upright and trying to get her to burp or spit-up. However, with a babe in arms, I am not great at leaving thoughtful comments. But I am reading.
I am trying to update the girls’ blogs a few times a week. They are mostly for me, so I can scrapbook someday when I have time (like, when they are in middle school…) but feel free to drop in and see what they are up to if you please.
We have yet to switch to WP 2.0 — anyone want to convince us it’s worth it?
ummm… you can keep your current layout if you have it backed up?
wp 2.0 is good but 1.5 isn’t all that bad either.
I upgraded just over a week ago and I like it; I’m glad I did. It’s mostly helpful, or different, on the back-end. If you have a plugins installed, be sure to check out the list at the wp.org site and make sure they will work in 2.0. Only 2 of mine did not, but there were other plugins that did the same thing that I switched to after trying the ones I already had. It’s just up to you. Just be sure that if you do upgrade – you do as exactly as they say in the step by step so you don’t lose anything. It’s was smooth sailing for me and I was nervous about it. Of course, I also had to give myself a new layout in honor of the upgrade and new year. I’m still housecleaning with it, but I can’t decide if I should go back to the three column or stay with the two. Hm?
Thank you for your e-mail , that was sweet of you to respond. I am sorry I didn’t get back sooner. I hear you about “when they are in middle school”, I too spend a lot of time nursing at the computer and I have a lot of scraps that need putting in books! 8 years worth! It is so nice to be in touch with you. My goddaughter was asking about my baby sling the other day and I was thinking about the sling you made for you dd and how I would like to have a little sling for my goddaughter to “wear” her baby dolls. I would like to start sewing again. Someday when they are like in “middle school”!!
I am sad Sora is moving I never had a chance to get to know her and she is so interesting.
Oh my gosh, scrapbooking is so much fun! I just joined a scrapbooking bible study…so I am making time to get Jonathan’s life in a book!!! Otherwise I would never do it…
