We have a slight familial obsession with Kashi products, especially those Tasty Little Crackers and the Go Lean Crunch cereal.

I’m just finishing my first box of Go Lean Crunch cereal. Love it! A friend gave me several Go Lean Bars. It took a while for me to warm up to them, but now I love having one in my purse for those times on the go. I’ll have to check out the Tasty Little Crackers.
Kate takes the familial obsession a bit too far. We usually just buy the seven grain crackers from Sams or the honey sesame ones, so when she got a taste of the cheese crackers yesterday (a teacher appreciation gift), she ate nothing but “ka-crackers” between her whole-grain bread breakfast and her yogurt nightcap. (Today she did branch out.)
Carol,
If you haven’t tried the GLC cereal on yogurt, you must. It’s very yummy!
I have to laugh… Matt really likes Kashi Go Lean Crunch but the stuff gives him terrible gas for some reason so he always refers to it as Kashi Go Lean Fart. :D
It does have a lot of fiber!
I love the taste of the cereal, but it’s MUCH TOO crunchy for me. It hurts my teeth!
Moriah, I don’t like super crunchy things, so I don’t eat it in milk, but I love it in yogurt!
Oh man, cheddar TLCs are phenomenal! You have great taste.
I think part of the reason I feel pretty good after long nights with the baby is a “high protein” diet, which usually means a bowl of GLC in the morning… haven’t tried the crackers yet- I’ll look for them next time I’m at the store
Oooh! Granola and yoghurt. One of my faves.
Yeah, I’ve been hooked on the Honey Almond Flax and Trail Mix bars for YTD 2006, but I really don’t like the Go Lean Crunch cereal…I’m with Moriah, it hurts my teeth, and it seems so heavy, too! Kinda gives me heartburn.
Kristen, I’ll try it with yogurt. I’ve weaned myself from the flavored (sugared) stuff and am eating it plain. It sounds like a great combination. Nikkiana, I can vouch for Matt’s observations. And here I thought it was all the vegetables I was eating!!
This week I debated buying the Kashi Kids cereal (I can’t remember the actual name), but I decided to pass. I really like their other cereals, but I agree with the pp that they can sometimes hurt my teeth.
Liv loves the Kashi Mighty Bites cereal. Can’t get enough of it!
