Oxyclean is a wonderful product line. The new spray oxyclean is more of the same. But follow the instructions. Do not let it sit on items for days before you wash them. Or you will ruin a brand new shirt (it bleaches and EATS HOLES.) Yes, I know this from experience.

Oh, forgive me for giggling. This reminds me of a friend’s story.
Her husband was not happy with the grayness of his white socks. He told his wife that his mother used bleach and his socks were always white when his mother did the wash.(comparisons are odious, I know, but he wasn’t the nicest man.) So she soaked them in undiluted bleach. She washed and dried them and when he wore them they turned to dust.
Ha! Also, you should not leave clothes at the bottom of the laundry heap for months, esp. is they might be or become slightly damp. Because they WILL mildew. Yes, I know this from experience, I’m sorry to say.
